II/295 Vrchlabí - Špindlerův Mlýn - stabilization of rocky slopes
In all sections (SO 06 – 12) the stabilization of rock slopes was solved by standard methods, i.e. by felling of trees with rebound effect, scrub removal, by mechanical removing the weathered layers, by removing unstable elements of rock massif (rock blocks, boulders and stones), by landscaping the top of the rock slope to a safe slope and by fitting anchored steel safety nets.
On the SO 08 Studené koleno subject the technical solution was enlarged for installation of dynamic barriers and extension of existing frame wall to gabion wall and a fence.
In section 10 U Čisté vody in addition to the methods indicated the reconstruction and drainages were implemented as to the existing crumbled frame walls at the foot of the slope by replacing it with a gabion wall.
In section 11 Pod mlýnem the rocky slope was stabilised ((in addition for standard methods) by reinforcing the rock mass under the CEZ power line with 9 with rock anchors.
In section 12 Velká strž (in addition to standard stabilization methods) a drainage of existing 4 m frame wall was implemented in the form of a gravel drain behind the wall crown and by the means of drainage openings in walls and reinforcement of the drainage channel.
