Securing an unstable slope in locations Chlum
Remediation of the rock slope included the removal of trees and shrubs, followed by the cleaning of rocky outcrops and the removal of unstable isolated blocks. This was followed by earthwork, i.e. removal of debris at the foot of the slope along with the relics of dry-walled stone walls and the implementation of a retaining wall from gabion baskets at the foot of the slope. Slope remediation consisted of securing part of the slope with anchored high-strength steel mesh, implementing a dynamic barrier (500 kJ, height of 3.0 m) and building a lightweight fence.
